Sri Lanka’s First Fragrance House with an In-House Perfumer

ELVOIR was born in 2020, during a time when the world — and Sri Lanka — was facing unprecedented change. As global perfume brands became increasingly expensive and difficult to access, I noticed a clear gap in the market: the absence of a local fragrance house that could offer true luxury, quality, and craftsmanship without being out of reach.

That gap became the foundation of ELVOIR.

My vision was simple yet ambitious — to create a fragrance house rooted in Sri Lanka that could redefine how we experience perfume, while standing confidently alongside international brands.

My Journey into Perfumery

To bring this vision to life, I went straight to the source — France, the heart of the global perfume industry. I trained at the prestigious Grasse Institute of Perfumery, gaining hands-on exposure to fine fragrance creation and working closely with a world-renowned French fragrance house.

This experience shaped ELVOIR’s philosophy: blending European perfumery craftsmanship with a deep understanding of Sri Lanka’s climate, culture, and evolving taste in luxury.
